# Arquivos auxiliares ### Arquivos auxiliares Por meio da funcionalidade **Arquivos Auxiliares,** é possível inserir, no SIGA-Doc, documento no formato original, equivalente ao que foi inserido em PDF, possibilitando, assim, a edição do arquivo original pelo destinatário e a inserção de nova versão, em PDF, no dossiê do documento.​ O arquivo auxiliar tem por objetivo substituir o e-mail no trâmite de documentos do SIGA-Doc, **não fazendo**, entretanto, **parte do expediente ou processo**.
